A TUBITAK’s support to METYX

A TUBITAK’s support to METYX, which continues its R&D studies at full speed to develop innovative products!

METYX has become one of the few companies that were merited to TUBITAK’s (Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey) fund with its “special fabric coating production line” designed in its own R&D center.

METYX USA has been awarded funding

METYX USA, a Gaston County composites manufacturer was recently awarded funding through NC Works and Gaston College in the amount of $177,711. The customized training program will support the company’s efforts to continue to improve the skills sets of their employees and offer new product lines in the US.

New Products from METYX: METYPASTE100, METYPOL200 and METYFINISH300

METYX has recently introduced a new paste/polish product group: METYPASTE 100 is the standard paste product, METYPOL 200 is a thin paste and polish product, METYFINISH300 is a high luster polish.

METYX USA Boosts Technical Textiles Production Capacity

In response to growing market demand, METYX USA is boosting production of its range of high-performance technical textiles in its factory in Gastonia, North Carolina, which recently gained ISO 9001:2015 QMS accreditation. An additional 11,000 tons of capacity is currently being installed in North Carolina for producing the Group’s extensive range of unidirectional and multiaxial non-crimp glass, carbon fiber, RTM and woven fabric reinforcements.

METYX USA Gains ISO 9001: 2015 Certification

The new METYX USA technical textiles production, sales and distribution facility in Gastonia, North Carolina, is now ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System certified. The ISO accreditation audit was carried out in December 2018 by TÜV Nord, which approved the METYX USA site and management systems.

METYX Expands Warehousing Facilities in Hungary

The METYX Hungary factory, located in Kaposvár, has recently expanded its warehousing facilities, adding an additional 3,024 sq. m (32,550 sq. ft) of fully enclosed storage space for composite technical fabrics, packaging and FRP tooling. The extended warehouse has two dedicated areas.
