METYX, one of the global brands of the composite world, started its preparations for the sixth METYX Composite Summit, the first of which was organized in 2007. The event includes two days of composites conference followed by two days of infusion, RTM & silicon bagging school. The composite conference will be held in Izmir Kaya Thermal Hotel on May 13-14.  Stories of the companies and industry leaders that draw attention due to their global success will serve as a roadmap for all participants seeking to innovate.  Additionally, the education track is designed to provide the maximum amount of targeted content, including theory and hands-on practice, partnered with Composites Integration. This is an excellent opportunity to learn about the latest techniques and innovations in the composites industry and to participate in hand-on, practical training. 

The METYX Composites Summit is suitable for everyone from those who are new to the industry, to experienced professionals seeking to improve themselves and learn the latest technologies.

Composites Conference:

The conference offers an opportunity to learn about the latest production techniques in the composite industry and to follow case studies and best practice examples from experts in various sectors. This year’s conference will feature topics ranging from AI solutions in production to sustainability practices, and from glass fiber to the carbon market, with participation from major global companies.

Information Security Policy

Inspired by innovation and driven by holistic products and services, we aim to implement and commit to the following fundamental principles to ensure the privacy, integrity, accessibility, continuity, and sustainability of information assets through the establishment of an Information Security Management System for a sustainable future that is preferred in the global composite industry:

• Ensuring necessary participation and support to achieve compliance with Information Security Management System standard requirements,

• Ensuring compliance with the laws, regulations, directives of the Republic of Turkey, customer contracts, and legal requirements required by the business,

• Ensuring the confidentiality of personal, corporate, or Third-Party-owned (produced and/or used) information in all circumstances,

• Ensuring that information is only accessible by authorized individuals, following the principle of “need-to-know,”

• Preventing unauthorized use, alteration, disclosure, and damage to all information assets, whether knowingly or unknowingly,

• Providing the necessary support and contributions to efforts to assess and reduce identified risks to acceptable levels,

• Providing the necessary support for planning awareness programs for information security that will increase the awareness of employees and encourage their contribution to the functioning of the system, to be regularly provided to employees and relevant supplier employees when applicable,

• Providing the necessary support for efforts to detect, report, close, and prevent the recurrence of real or suspected information security incidents,

• Ensuring business continuity and providing the necessary support and contribution for continuous access to information at planned levels,

• Providing the necessary resources for the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Information Security Management System,

We will strive to integrate the ISO 27001 Information Security Management System into our company’s business processes, considering information security requirements at every stage.

Sustainable Supply Policy

Metyx Group (Telateks Textile Products Ind. And Tic. Co. Ltd., Telateks Foreign Trade and Composite Ind. Co. Ltd., Metyx Hungary Kft., Metyx USA Inc.) commits to preserving compliance, honesty, and ethical conduct principles. The purpose of this policy is to describe the standards and fundamental principles that Metyx Group observes in its relationships. Through the implementation of this policy in its relationships, Metyx Group aims to be responsible in the supply process, behave in line with quality and business execution objectives, and aim for sustainable supply chain management.

IMPLEMENTATION PRINCIPLES

We expect our suppliers to work in accordance with the guidelines stated in this policy and to act in compliance with all laws and regulations relevant to their activities in all countries where they operate. As METYX Group, we consider these principles in our supplier selection, evaluation, and audits.

We expect our suppliers to:

  • Not employ child labor below the minimum working age defined under Article 138 of the International Labour Organization Convention,
  • Not engage in forced or compulsory labor,
  • Not employ individuals without any job security,
  • Not discriminate based on race, ethnic origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, color, religion, country of birth, marital status, pregnancy, dependents, age, position, disability, social class, union membership, or political views,
  • Uphold human rights and operate with a business approach that respects human dignity,
  • Not accept any form of physical abuse, sexual, verbal, or physical harassment and intimidation in the workplace,
  • Behave fairly in all business relationships in accordance with basic moral and humane values,
  • Remunerate their employees at least with the minimum wage, ensuring that all benefits comply with the rules set by laws and regulations, and that payments are made regularly and on time,
  • Ensure that their employees are provided with holidays and leave days in accordance with laws and regulations, and that working hours comply with regulations,
  • Respect their employees’ rights to join, be members of, represent, and participate in worker unions and worker councils as defined by local laws,
  • Adhere to occupational health and safety rules in the workplace, take all necessary precautions, and provide regular occupational health and safety training to their employees,
  • Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and legislation related to the environment,
  • Not accept or offer unlawful payments, donations, bribes, gifts, or other inappropriate benefits in their commercial transactions,
  • Respect METYX intellectual property rights and inform us if they become aware of any threat and/or infringement of these rights, collaborating with METYX to prevent and/or end any potential infringement,
  • Warn the parties and ensure compliance with confidentiality obligations if they are required to disclose confidential information to their employees, workers, and consultants in the course of their work.

Health and Safety: We are committed to providing a safe and healthy working environment for all employees and subcontractors. We aim to reduce the weight ratio of workplace accidents toward zero year by year with a goal and plan.
