In 2021, METYX became one of over 5,000 companies that support and promote the Principles of Women’s Empowerment. The Principles of Women’s Empowerment (WEPs) are a set of guidelines that provide businesses with guidance on how to promote gender equality and empower women in the workplace, in the marketplace, and in society. Established by the UN Global Compact and UN Women, the WEPs are informed by international labor and human rights standards and recognize businesses’ role and responsibility in promoting gender equality and women’s empowerment.
